DAILY VIBRATION & MANDALA REPORT: Sunday May 1st 2016
Sunday May 1st's vibration (1+5+2+0+1+6) = 15/6. We start the 5th month with the balancing influence of the 6. Discrimination, weighing things up, harmony, and a desire to nurture and protect are the major themes of the day. The 6 is often called the vibration of the cosmic parent, because its energy nurtures & promotes growth and evolution.
6’s energy is all about HEALING, and often compels us to take on responsibilities for those that feel burdened, & to utilise its powerful voice to speak out on behalf of humanity, promoting total equality & harmony for all.
The geometrical form that the 6 vibration generates is the Hexagon, and its internal form is the Star of David or Seal of Solomon: two perfectly balanced, interlocking equilateral triangles. Since ancient times this form has been the most evocative symbol of the spiritual axiom, “AS ABOVE – SO BELOW" and represents the concept that the material world is but a reflection of the greater reality, the unseen spiritual reality.
The upward-pointing triangle represents the heavens, the cosmic source of the divine, while the downward-pointing triangle represents the earth, the birth place of material form where Source energy can manifest itself and look back at the reflection in the mirror.
This form symbolises the perfect balance that must be created between the perception and awareness of the material and spiritual realms, and maintained, if we are to fulfill our destiny as human beings.
The 6th card of the Tarot is The Lovers. At face value, the Lovers relate to love and coupling, but on a deeper level, the imagery refers to balance and sharing; the harmonious union of opposite but complementary components.
The keyword is discrimination, the ability to weigh things up using your logic and common-sense, but also using your intuition and gut feelings to get the big picture.
This is the founding principle of Sacred Geometry, to address and present the laws of vibration to both sides of the brain equally so that we can begin to perceive with Unity consciousness.
The 6 illustrates the relationship of the divine and the human, indicating that humankind’s spiritual path lies in the balance of the spiritual and the physical, the eternal and the transitory.
The 6 represents the balance between the material realm and the non-physical spiritual realms. The number 5 highlights the need for discernment and discrimination, and both these concepts come together under the umbrella of the number 15.
Overcoming the traps of materialism is the main symbolic meaning conveyed by the 15th card of the Tarot, The Devil.
The Devil here represents the dark side of the material world, which is ignorance; ignorance of our karmic story, the cycle of cause and effect, and our ability to shape our destiny by our thoughts, feelings and will. This is a major concept for all humans to learn while experiencing materialism, and this card tells us that we must use discernment in perceiving reality, and not entrap ourselves in materialism by believing only in the surface world, a superficial reality.
Our ability to discriminate and decide which is good and which is evil is what defines us as human. It is our individualised free will that elevates our consciousness from the rest of the animal kingdom. To be accurate though, even with this capacity we are still just “intellectual animals”. To be truly human we must align our will with the divine will, and transform ourselves from ego-driven to compassion-driven individuals. It is this challenge that the vibration of 15/6 and the Devil card, articulates.
The traditional imagery in this card depicts the devil as the horned goat looming over a naked man and woman who are both chained to HALF a cube. There are many visual symbols here.
The male and female represent the receptive and expressive sides to our natures; the left-brain objective reality and the right-brain subjective reality.
They are chained to half a cube. The cube is the form that the ancients used to represent the earth, the birthplace of material form. There is only half a cube because when we are chained to materialism we only see half, or one side of reality. The other half, the spiritual half, is often invisible to us.
This card is urging us to balance both perspectives so that we can see the whole picture. When we have holistic vision, we can discern reality with clarity and make informed choices with wisdom, rather than groping in the dark and making choices driven by fear.
The Ego looms large over the psyche in this image as the Devil/Satan, because our desires have such a large impact on our lives. We may not think of ourselves as slaves to sensory stimulation, but this vibration is urging us to step back and examine what really motivates our actions; what are we chained to in our lives, what are we manipulated by.
Overcoming desires and entrapment by the Ego is the key theme with 15/6. When this vibration appears it is time to be honest with yourself about what is limiting you and chaining you to a materialistic or superficial way of life.
And time for insights about what you can do to bring things into balance, how you can overcome the limiting desires of the ego and achieve peace, balance and compassion, for the TRUE self.
All which inform the key attributes of the positive 6, 15’s root energy. The symbolism of the 6 is all about the union of opposites, and this can mean the union of the left and right brain in order to perceive the world as it really is, rather than how it appears to be.
When 5 and 6 work together under the focus of the 1, crystal clear discrimination and balance of the mind is the outcome. 5 makes us aware of the ego-self (especially through the 5 physical senses) but at the same time makes us aware of our connection to Unity consciousness.
The Devil card is telling you not to be duped by superficial appearances. So today you are motivated to investigate things beyond their appearance, you will need to play the investigator and weigh everything up. Sometimes the sheer density of the material world can gets us down, but another keyword for this card is humour or mirth.
The message here is that when things get hectic, pull back to see the funny side. Laughter is the best defence against negativity. Meditating on today’s 15/6 mandala will put things into a balanced perspective.
Enjoy your day everyone! And if it's your birthday or anniversary today, then this vibration stays with you for the year as your Personal Year vibration! Go well!
